Dr. Wolf specializes in treating disorders of the Spine including degenerative conditions, tumors, infections, spinal malalignment, nerve and spinal cord compression and fractures. Many conditions of the spine are amenable to conservative treatment and this is always a major element in the care of a patient with a spinal problem.
Dr. Wolf is a member of the North American Spine Society and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Wolf is listed in the 1996 to present editions of the Best Doctors in America, North East Region.
After graduating from Temple University School of Medicine in 1984, Dr. Wolf did a surgical internship at the US Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA, followed by an Orthopedic Surgery residency at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. After serving three years in the US Navy as an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Wolf completed a Fellowship in spinal reconstructive surgery with Dr. Paul McAfee in Towson, MD.
Dr. Wolf has been on several medical mission trips; the most recent being to Ecuador. Dr. Wolf started practicing in Camp Hill, PA in 1993 and has been with the Orthopedic Institute since its inception in 1995. He resides in Mechanicsburg with his wife, Charlene, and their three children.
