He didn't really listen to my concerns. He was extremely short with me and didn't explain what he meant or the reasoning behind his diagnosis. It was awful. I cried the whole way home. I think he was in the exam room with me for...4 minutes? I would not recommend.

I had a very satisfying experience. Check in was fast. I got through the first waiting room, x-ray waiting and waiting for the doctor in less than 15 minutes. Amazing. Dr Amalferano is personable, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. He spent as much time as I needed to answer my questions and gave me further information to follow up on my issue. I felt so comfortable and taken care of.

Dr. Amalfetano is one I had my follow for right heel and arch pain, after going being seen my lady doctor as walk in. Dr. A is very knowledgeable, kind and explains everything thoroughly and is no rush to be in and out of the room to see the next patient.

We found Dr Amalfetano to be a highly skilled Dr of podiatry. He explained my foot issues to me in detail and discussed the best solution for a good outcome. He made sure I was recovering well following surgery- and have had numerous follow up appointments to check on progress. He always takes time to talk through any concerns we have and is simply a nice person who seems to enjoy what he does- which is fix feet!

Dr A, took his time to explain what the problem was with my feet while referring to my x-rays up on his monitor. Surgery will need to be scheduled and he explained why and what was the recovery time. Very personable and polite, shaking my hand firmly which I appreciate. I don’t look forward to this necessary surgery on my right foot, but I feel like I’m in good hands. I’ve seen Dr. DeLuca for both of my knee replacements and Dr. Himmelwright for rotator cuff surgery and I’ve always received excellent service from them also. OIP runs a great show !

I'm grateful to Dr. Amalfetano of Orthopedic Institute. I'm grateful to him for not only describing why I have difficulty walking but also giving me a likely solution. He referred me to someone who makes orthopedic shoes and custom-made orthotics. The doctor saved me substantial money paying for the out-of-the-box arch supports advertised on television.

My son broke his ankle. We used OIP in Carlisle and Camp Hill. Dr Amalfetano (Dr A) is AMAZING with kiddos and is very detailed with explaining things. His receptionist is AWESOME and very prompt with responses on the portal! Harrisburg PT Megan, she is AWESOME as well! Thank you guys for getting Bryce back on the mend in a quick but safe way! He is very excited to return to sports! It has been a pleasant experience!

Dr A has been great to work with, he is very interested in his patients well being and recovery. He also doesn't give you a glossy picture to make you feel good, he tells you exactly what to expect, and I appreciate that. I do feel they overbook his patient schedule on days he is in the office, the wait to see him can get long. That's the only reason for taking away a ⭐.

Dr Amalfetano at OIP in Carlisle was such a very compassionate, caring physician. I told him of an issue I have struggled with for 7-9 years. He was not put off. He said he was going to find an answer and a course of treatment. He explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. For the first time in almost a decade I feel real hope for finding relief from my foot pain.3/2025- follow up visit. I am greatly encouraged that Dr Amalfetano will work with me until we find a solution to my foot pain. He is very compassionate and patient.

Finding a podiatrist that I felt comfortable with was a task to say the least. I eventually landed at OIP with Dr Amalfetano. Dr. A treated me with respect and was very attentive to my needs/concerns. Kemonte, the Dr assistant, was very helpful to me. Through the ease of the patient portal, Kemonte was prompt with his responses to questions I had and would call me on the phone when I needed clarification. I am currently recovering from a successful bunionectomy and doing very well.
