Christopher H. Schank, DPM
Dr. Schank is a board-certified Podiatric surgeon. He has a special interest in limb deformity, Charcot reconstruction, advanced ankle instability, arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle, sports related injuries, foot reconstructions and ankle replacement. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Schank graduated from Lebanon Valley College with the highest honors, and athletically earned membership into the MACC All-Century Baseball team, receiving academic All-American status. Dr. Schank completed his graduate education at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine with a Master of Anatomy. He went on to receive a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine while also earning membership into the Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society. He later completed his Podiatric Surgical and Reconstruction residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan.
Dr. Schank is an associate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and holds memberships in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
William A. Rollé, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Rollé is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He holds membership with the International Spine Intervention Society, the American Medical Association, and the Dauphin County Medical Society. Dr. Rollé has also coauthored several textbook chapters on Interventional Pain Management.
Taryn Reichard, D.O.
Dr. Reichard is board certified in Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management and has a special interest in Neuromodulation including spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation.
Dr. Reichard attended Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh where she played Division 1 soccer and completed her bachelor’s degree. She attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following graduation, she completed her residency in Anesthesiology/Perioperative Medicine and fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
She holds memberships with the North American Neuromodulation Society, The Society of Women Innovators of Pain Management, Spine Intervention Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the Pennsylvania Pain Society. Program committee member for the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
Michael J. Oplinger, M.D.
Michael J. Oplinger, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in joint repair and replacement, sports medicine, fractures, and minimally invasive surgery. He provides patients with the best possible care using the most current techniques.
Dr. Oplinger graduated from State University of New York at Stony Brook with a degree in biochemistry and medical ethics. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program.
Dr. Oplinger is a member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is currently a team physician for Dickinson College Athletics.
James A. Oliverio, M.D.
James A. Oliverio, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine; as well as trauma and fracture care. Dr. Oliverio performed the first robotic assisted hip replacement in the state of Pennsylvania and was one of the first surgeons in central PA to offer robotic assisted hip and knee replacements.
Dr. Oliverio completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. He graduated with honors from New York Medical College, where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed his orthopedic training at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center/Texas Tech University residency program, where he served as Chief Resident. Prior to moving to central Pennsylvania in 2005, Dr. Oliverio served as an officer and orthopedic surgeon with the U.S. Army for 11 years. He was deployed numerous times and supported our troops during conflict as Chief of Orthopedics of the 86th Combat Support Hospital in Kosovo and again during war time as the Chief of orthopedic surgery of the 28th Combat Support Hospital in Iraq.
Dr. Oliverio is a member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons (ABOS) and the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS).
Tyson P. Maugle, D.O.
Dr. Maugle earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was captain of the varsity football team. He received a medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His Orthopedic Surgery residency was completed in UPMC Pinnacle, Harrisburg, where he had the distinction of serving as Chief Resident. He received Fellowship training in Orthopedic Spinal Surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.
Dr. Maugle is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon specializing in comprehensive spine surgical care including minimally invasive and motion-sparing techniques, scoliosis and deformity surgery, and revision surgical treatment. He also treats general orthopedic conditions including hip and knee surgeries as well as orthopedic fractures and traumas. Dr. Maugle is committed to providing the best possible outcomes for patients with the least invasive surgery possible.
Dr. Maugle holds memberships with American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), North American Spine Society (NASS), Society of Lateral Access Surgery (SOLAS), American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics (AOAO).
Ronald W. Lippe, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Lippe graduated from Ursinus College Summa Cum Laude with a degree in chemistry and minors in physics and biology. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He joined OIP in 1989.
Dr. Lippe is board certified and a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He was appointed Clinical Professor of Neuroscience and Anatomy at The Pennsylvania State University where he taught anatomy. He previously served as the Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at Penn State College of Medicine. He has completed special research in MRI-generated patient specific guides for total knee replacements and performs total joint replacements with the MAKO robot.
Daniel J. Kim, D.O.
Dr. Kim completed his Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at The CORE Institute in Phoenix, AZ, where he completed over 700 robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement and complex revision surgeries. Dr. Kim received his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, where he graduated at the top of his class. He later went on to complete an Orthopedic Surgery residency in UPMC Pinnacle’s Orthopedic Surgery program in Harrisburg, PA, where he served as the Academic Chief Resident.
Dr. Kim specializes in adult reconstructive joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. Dr. Kim is certified in MAKO robotic-assisted total hip, total knee, and partial knee replacement and is among a limited number of surgeons in the country to use the direct anterior approach with robotic-assisted total hip replacement system.
