Dr. Lippe has an interest in hip and knee replacement surgery and spine surgery.
Dr. Lippe graduated from Ursinus College Summa Cum Laude with a degree in chemistry and minors in physics and biology. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He joined OIP in 1989.
Dr. Lippe is board certified and a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He was appointed Clinical Professor of Neuroscience and Anatomy at The Pennsylvania State University where he taught anatomy. He previously served as the Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at Penn State College of Medicine. He has completed special research in MRI-generated patient specific guides for total knee replacements and performs total joint replacements with the MAKO robot.
